Visioneers - I stumbled across this while looking for something to rent on Friday night, I’d never heard of it before. Zach Galifianakis plays a guy with a lot of repressed feelings living a mundane, if privileged, life in a society where no-one really thinks for themselves. The above trailer gives the impression that it’s chaotic and shouty but it’s mostly a quiet little thing with similar themes to Brazil/Brave New World. Not everyone will like it, I can see people being put off by some of the surreal elements (heads esplode!). It’s actually pretty good - some parts are really good (that piano score for one) but not all of it works that well. You can probably tell if you’ll like it just from the trailer.
